Rehmann is seeking an experienced professional to lead and contribute to audit and accounting engagements within public accounting or public sector settings. The ideal candidate brings strong communication, leadership, and a CPA (or pursuit) mindset to deliver high-quality financial stewardship.

You will manage accounting processes, budgets, and reporting while guiding staff and coordinating with clients and leadership to drive organizational success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years (or more) relevant audit experience in public accounting or public sector entity.
• Understanding of GASB and government fund accounting, client’s business systems and industry requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to self-direct and manage multiple projects / deadlines.
• Ability to lead and motivate staff and senior level associates.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Licensed CPA or other certification highly desirable, but not required.
• Career oriented, seeking advancement.
