Job summary

Rehmann is hiring an experienced audit professional to support public accounting and government-related engagements. You will maintain accounting systems, prepare budgets, and supervise accounting staff to deliver accurate financial reporting.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of audit experience, strong GASB knowledge, and the ability to lead teams while communicating clearly with clients. Bachelor’s degree required; CPA desirable and career growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of audit experience in public accounting or public sector entity.
• Understanding of GASB and government fund accounting, client’s business systems and industry requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to self-direct and manage multiple projects / deadlines.
• Ability to lead and motivate staff and senior level associates.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Licensed CPA or other certification highly desirable, but not required.
• Career oriented, seeking advancement.
