Job summary

Rehmann in the United States is seeking a seasoned audit professional with 5+ years of public accounting or government audit experience to join our team. The role emphasizes GASB knowledge, strong communication, and leadership of staff on multiple engagements.

You will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, while collaborating with management and clients to deliver accurate results and insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years (or more) relevant audit experience in public accounting or public sector entity.
• Understanding of GASB and government fund accounting, client’s business systems and industry requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to self-direct and manage multiple projects / deadlines
• Ability to lead and motivate staff and senior level associates
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Licensed CPA or other certification highly desirable, but not required
• Career oriented, seeking advancement
