• Capability to quickly learn and operate government-specific financial platforms like Navy-ERP and the Execution Website.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify financial discrepancies, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ability to produce accurate, professional, and error-free work products and to validate data for completeness and correctness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders and producing clear financial reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and financial modeling; also required are Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Financial Transaction Execution: Draft, initiate, and process financial execution transactions in Navy-ERP and other systems within 3 business days of request.
• Procurement Monitoring: Track procurement packages through their lifecycle to completion and verify receipt of goods/services.
• Spend Plan Management: Maintain accuracy of spend plans in designated financial systems per BFM requirements.
• Financial Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve discrepancies; implement corrective actions.
• Financial Work Product Generation: Produce accurate financial reports, budget analyses, and impact statements.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with IT and other personnel to gather technical details; communicate with BFM to resolve submissions.
• Tasker Data Management: Collect and validate task-related data and update trackers daily.
