The LDS Cashier Supervisor oversees the daily operations of revenue collection, reconciliation, and billing for Land Development Services (LDS). Ensures accurate and timely posting of transactions, manages the cashier team, and improves the customer experience through efficient cashier operations and call center management. Key responsibilities include reviewing and posting transactions, resolving discrepancies, processing customer returns and refunds, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. The supervisor will also serve as the subject matter expert on cash applications for permitting, proffers, and inspections, while providing training, feedback, and support to the cashier team. The position requires strong analytical skills, customer service expertise, and the ability to manage and lead a team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to the following:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in accounting; or a bachelor's degree in business administration or related field that has been supplemented by at least 6 credit hours of basic accounting principles and concepts.

BRIDGE CLASS EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

Four years of increasingly complex technical administrative experience in the assigned functional area, comparable to experience at the Administrative Assistant IV, or higher, level.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise staff performing a variety of functions, particularly in finance, revenue management, or customer service environments.

Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and integrity in revenue collection and reporting.

Strong ability to enhance the customer experience through efficient operations, high-level service, and effective handling of complex transactions and customer inquiries.

Ability to handle escalated customer issues and provide effective solutions.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

The appointee to the position must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check and credit check to the satisfaction of the employer.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to operate keyboard driven equipment, phone and retrieve documents from file cabinets. Duties are generally sedentary and performed in a normal office environment. Periodically require the ability to stand for several hours and to lift moderately heavy items, such as boxes of paper weighing up to 50 Ibs. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
