Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles is seeking a Financial Programmer to design, develop, and maintain financial and accounting applications. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and a minimum of five years' experience in financial applications development. This role offers a hybrid work option and a competitive salary range of $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including healthcare and a generous 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with financial systems and applications development.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the development of financial applications in web, client-server, and n-tiered environments.
• Strong experience using relational databases, preferably.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing solutions to financial application and reporting issues.
• Coding, testing, and debugging financial application systems according to specifications.
• Maintaining financial applications and reporting solutions after implementation.

Skills

Software proficiency (Windows, Microsoft Office)

Proficient with reporting tools (Active Reports, Business Objects, Tableau)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education
