Job summary

BankUnited is seeking a Teller professional in Florida who handles daily cash transactions and customer service with a focus on accuracy and client satisfaction. You will manage deposits, withdrawals, and cross-sell banking products while meeting branch goals.

The role requires 1-2 years of cash-handling experience, a HS diploma or GED, and strong customer service and risk awareness. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within the branch network.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of cash handling experience.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service, sales, risk management and cash operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives cash and checks for deposit, verifies amounts and endorsements.
• Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and balances.
• Enters transactions into computer and issues receipts.
• Balances cash drawer and compares totals with system data.
• Explains and sells Bank products and services; meets sales goals.
• Opens and processes accounts after consulting with customers.
• Responds to customer inquiries and supports safe deposit transactions.
