Job summary

Nationwide in Columbus, OH is seeking a Solutions Center representative to answer incoming calls from investment professionals, sponsors and members, explaining product suites and servicing needs.

You will document conversations, comply with FINRA rules, and aim for first-time resolution while building customer relationships. A high school diploma and 1 year in customer service are required; FINRA licenses may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Undergraduate degree in finance, business administration, insurance, economics, or communications preferred.
• One year of experience in customer service or sales.
• Knowledge of FINRA rules and state laws preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and responds to incoming calls from investment professionals, plan sponsors and members on a variety of topics.
• Responsible for interpreting and applying changes to products and services, and offering consultative expertise.
• Keeps records of conversations and documents interactions to deepen member relationships.
• Follows FINRA rules, Nationwide policies and local laws.
• Educates customers on tax implications, penalties, surrender charges, and plan benefits.
