Job summary

Addvantage Credit Union Staffing is seeking a Financial Services Rep / Member Services Sales for a credit union in Williamsburg, VA. The role emphasizes frontline sales in a retail banking setting with a strong focus on member service and product knowledge.

Full-time, temp-to-hire hours are set; compensation is $20.00-$21.00 per hour. Branch hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm and Sat 8:30am-12:30pm. Prior banking sales or customer service experience is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of sales or service experience advising customers on products and services.
• One year of experience in a bank, credit union, or financial institution along with sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with impeccable service in person or over the phone.
• Use consultative selling to offer financial products and services.
• Identify opportunities to increase membership and product sales.
• Educate members on credit union products and services and make referrals to partners.
• Process new accounts, loans, and other transactions as needed.

We are currently seeking a Financial Services Rep / Member Services Sales for a credit union located in Williamsburg, VA!

Do you have banking sales experience or sales experience and would like a career in banking? If so, then this is the job for you!

Type:

Full-time, temp-to-hire

Pay: $

20.00-$21.00/hr

Branch hours: Monday – Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm & Saturday 8:30-12:30

Responsibilities:

• Provides members and potential members with impeccable service in person or over the phone.
• Use consultative selling to offer financial products and services.
• Identify opportunities to increase membership and product sales.
• Engagement and educating members on credit union products and services.
• Selling and offering financial products and services to members in person and over the phone.
• Processes new accounts, additional share types, and IRAs.
• Processes consumer loan products including personal, auto, home equity line of credit, and credit cards.
• Process all types of transactions for members, including balance inquiries, transfers, payments, loan advances, account opening, and all other requests.
• Educates members on products and services, making referrals to internal business partners.

Requirements:

• Two years of sales or service experience advising customers on products and services along with professionalism and a positive attitude that fits into a face-to-face financial institution environment.

• One year of experience in a bank, credit union, or financial institution along with sales experience.
