Role Description

The Financial Services Representative role is a full-time hybrid position based in Mt. Laurel, NJ, with some flexibility for work from home. In this role, the representative meets with individuals, families, and businesses to assess financial needs and goals, and recommends appropriate solutions in areas such as retirement planning, insurance, and investments. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, explaining financial products and strategies in accessible terms, preparing and reviewing proposals, and maintaining accurate records. The representative is expected to build and maintain long-term client relationships, follow up on inquiries, and provide ongoing service and support. The role also involves staying informed about industry trends, adhering to regulatory requirements, and collaborating with team members to deliver consistent, high-quality client experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Finance and Financial Services to analyze client situations and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Experience or familiarity with Investments, including basic investment products and retirement planning strategies.
• Understanding of Insurance products and their role in protecting individuals, families, and businesses.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and build trust.
• Relevant licenses or willingness to obtain required state insurance and securities licenses (e.g., life and health insurance, Series 6/7, 63/65 as applicable).
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and meet client and business goals.
