Wave is seeking a Product Operations Owner to lead an assigned product line (Refund Transfer, Emerald Card, Spruce, or Lending) and manage day-to-day execution and change delivery. You will partner with Product Directors, Operations and Technology to implement enhancements and ensure operational readiness.

You will translate requirements into execution plans, drive testing, document procedures, and identify automation opportunities while providing leadership updates on risks and outcomes.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field or experience.
• 3+ years of banking/financial services/operations/lending experience.
• Strong experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated environments.
• Solid understanding of product operations lifecycles: implementation, change management, testing, and support.
• Proven ability to execute complex changes and manage dependencies.

• Serve as the primary operations owner for an assigned product line (Refund Transfer, Emerald Card & Spruce, Lending, or Wave), responsible for daytoday execution and change delivery.

• Partner closely with Product Directors, Operations leaders, and Technology teams to implement new products, enhancements, and operational changes.

• Translate product requirements into operational execution plans, including workflows, readiness checklists, dependencies, risks, and timelines.

• Execute and support endtoend product launches and changes, ensuring operational readiness across systems, processes, documentation, controls, and downstream impacts.

• Lead operational testing and validation efforts for your product, including functional testing, endtoend scenario testing, and quality checks.

• Own and maintain productspecific operating procedures, ensuring documentation is accurate, current, and consistently followed.

• Identify opportunities for automation, tooling improvements, and process efficiencies, partnering with your manager and crossfunctional teams to drive execution.

• Build and execute operational monitoring and audit routines, including controls, reconciliations, exception tracking, and issue remediation.

• Act as a subject matter expert for your product’s operations, supporting issue resolution, rootcause analysis, and escalations as needed.

• Provide clear updates and insights to leadership on readiness status, risks, defects, and outcomes related to product changes.

You Thrive Here By Possessing the Following:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.

• 3+ years of related experience in banking, financial services, operations, or lending.

• Strong experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated operational environments.

• Solid understanding of product operations lifecycles, including implementation, change management, testing, and ongoing support.

• Proven ability to execute complex changes, manage dependencies, and work across multiple teams.

• Experience with operational testing, audit support, controls, or quality assurance.

• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with attention to detail and ownership mindset.

• Ability to document processes clearly and think endtoend across systems and functions.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executiveready updates.

• Proficiency using data and operational insights to identify issues and improvements.

• Direct experience supporting bankingasaservice, fintech, consumer lending, payment, or prepaid card products.

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations tied to financial products.

• Experience in working with technology or product teams on changes

• Exposure to automation, workflow tools, or operational platforms

• Experience supporting product launches, pilots, or major enhancements

• Comfort operating as a dedicated product owner within an operations organization.

• Proficiency in SQL or PBI
