Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Financial Services Litigation Partner to lead cases involving FINRA and broker-dealer defense. The role offers remote or hybrid work with generous benefits and an emphasis on client development.

Financial Services Litigation Partner (FINRA / Broker-Dealer Defense), Remote or Hybrid

Salary: $200,000 - $350,000 per year

Its growing Financial Services and Institutions practice counsels and defends broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, insurance agents, and other financial services firms and professionals in FINRA, AAA, and other arbitrations, in state and federal courts, and in regulatory examinations and proceedings.

Job Details

You'll run your own matters and help grow a practice built for the people who keep the financial markets running and occasionally get sued for it.

• Manage arbitration, litigation, and regulatory matters from intake to resolution

Qualifications

Required

• Licensed in the state where you live
• 10+ years of financial services litigation experience
• FINRA, AAA, and other arbitration experience, including customer and intra-industry disputes, for broker-dealers, RIAs, and financial professionals
• Experience responding to FINRA, SEC, and state regulatory investigations and enforcement actions
• Experience defending financial services professionals in state and federal court
• Experience representing insurance agents in professional liability claims
• Strong writing, research, and case management skills, and the ability to run multiple matters independently

Preferred

• Florida Bar admission
• A portable book of business
• Admission in a jurisdiction where the firm has an office
