Fully remote!

This Jobot Job is hosted by: Tyler May

Salary: $180,000 - $210,000 per year

A bit about us:

Our client is a well established, multi-office law firm with a national commercial litigation practice built over nearly five decades. The firm serves institutional clients across a range of industries, including financial services, real estate, manufacturing, insurance, and hospitality, handling matters that span complex litigation, corporate transactions, and creditor and bankruptcy work. With attorneys based across several states along the East Coast and beyond, the firm has earned a reputation for tackling difficult, high stakes disputes on behalf of banks, lenders, and other institutional clients, and for building long term relationships with sophisticated business clients who return to the firm for repeat engagements.

Why join us:

This is an opportunity to step into a true leadership role rather than simply carry a caseload. The attorney selected for this position will own an entire state practice within the firm's creditors' rights group, meaning direct P'&L visibility, real input into staffing and strategy, and the autonomy to run the practice as their own book of business while drawing on the infrastructure, referral network, and institutional client relationships of an established multistate platform. This suits an attorney who has already built a reputation in creditors' rights or commercial collections work and is ready to lead rather than support, with a support staff and associate team already in place to execute on their direction. Compensation is structured to reward origination and practice growth, and the firm has a track record of promoting practice leaders into firm wide leadership and shareholder positions.
