Financial Services Junior Associate – National Law Firm – Charlotte – $160,00+

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, nationally recognised U.S. law firm as a Junior Associate within its Financial Services / Commercial Lending practice, based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The firm has a strong southeastern footprint with a genuinely national practice, advising banks, financial institutions and corporate borrowers on sophisticated financing transactions. The team is well regarded for the quality of its deal flow, partner‑led training and commitment to developing junior lawyers through hands‑on, in‑office mentorship.

This role offers strong technical exposure, close supervision from experienced partners and an excellent platform for long‑term development within a leading financial services practice.

The Role

You will join a well‑established transactional finance team, supporting a broad range of commercial lending matters, including:

• Assisting on commercial lending transactions for financial institutions and lenders.
• Supporting work on syndicated credit facilities and leveraged finance transactions.
• Drafting and reviewing transaction documents under partner supervision.
• Working closely with senior lawyers on complex deal execution across the full transaction lifecycle.

This position is ideal for junior associates seeking structured development, high‑quality transactional exposure and an office‑based environment focused on learning and progression.

The Candidate

• A qualified attorney with 1–3 years’ experience in commercial lending or financial services transactions.
