Job summary

Bellwether Staffing Solutions in Stamford, CT is seeking a temporary (temp to possible permanent) Customer Service / Client Services Specialist. The role is hybrid (in-office 2 days) and runs 5-6 months with a possible transition to permanent.

You will support clients, handle calls and emails, and perform administrative tasks in the Financial Services sector with standard 37-40 hour weeks and a pay range of $20.00-$23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience; college preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in a customer service/administrative role.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite.
• Understanding of financial products such as pensions and annuities.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming service calls, emails and process administration work.
• Monitor mail/task activity daily and review incoming queue.
• Respond to inquiries promptly, professionally, and accurately.
• Assist with payment processing inquiries and direct deposit setup.
• Process reports, address changes, and related maintenance tasks.
• Gather information and route to appropriate department.
• Provide year-end tax form information and support.
• Assist in updating procedures, forms and online help tools.
• Complete additional projects as requested by the Manager.
