Job summary

Davenport & Company LLC in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a hard-working, detail oriented Client Service Associate (unregistered) to support a Financial Advisor and back up other CSAs. This full-time, non-exempt role focuses on servicing clients and maintaining positive relationships with the firm.

Ideal candidates have banking or financial services background, strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• College Degree preferred
• Experience in financial services or banking strongly preferred
• FINRA Licensing: Must obtain the SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 within 2 years
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Answering and managing the main office line for the Team
• Submitting client requests for checks, wires, transfers, and security registrations
• Responding on a timely basis to operational notices
• Assisting with all forms of account paperwork
• Maintaining records and files as required by the Team and the Compliance department
• Processing mailings and arranging seminars
• Working with internal service departments including Operations, Financial Services, and Research
• Collaborate with co-workers to cover various needs as they arise in the branch
• Managing the team calendar, scheduling appointments, confirmations, and client review preparation
