Job summary

Davenport & Company LLC is seeking a dedicated Client Service Associate to support Financial Advisors in our Norfolk office. This full-time, non-exempt position focuses on servicing clients and nurturing positive relationships throughout the firm.

Ideal candidates have banking or financial services backgrounds and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities include handling client requests, paperwork, and coordination with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new computer programs and processes.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones, filing, and preparing correspondence.
• Submitting client requests for checks, wires, transfers, and security registrations.
• Helping clients understand monthly statements and tax notices.
• Maintaining records and files as required by Compliance.
• Processing mailings and coordinating seminars.
• Working with internal service departments to support clients.
