Job summary

Edelman Financial Engines is seeking a Client Services team member to deliver high level client service and maintain strong client relationships. You will partner with Financial Planners, handle account paperwork, and support daily administrative functions to ensure accurate and timely servicing of client portfolios.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in financial services, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and a solid understanding of investment markets.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience in a Registered Investment Advisor or Broker/Dealer is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of finance and investment markets/securities.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changes and handle frequent disruptions.
• Position requires a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client meetings, including greeting clients, appointment preparation, and supporting paperwork.
• Supervise client account activity, researching and resolving issues.
• Prepare and review all new account paperwork to ensure documents are complete and in good order.
• Verify accounts are traded into the accurate model and aid operations with rollovers and transfers.
• Document key client achievements and data for future client interactions.
• Maintain risk awareness and compliance with policies and regulatory procedures.
• Support firm initiatives, participate in projects, and attend functions as needed.
• Represent CSA voice in projects, task forces, councils, and product rollouts.
