Job summary

AlphaSense in Chicago is seeking a Sector Lead for Financial Services on the Channel & Customer Research (CCR) team. You will build and maintain CCR coverage across financial services companies, including banking, insurance, and fintech, reporting to the Head of Channel & Customer Research.

You will design primary research workflows, guide analysts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, high-quality insights using AlphaSense’s AI Interviewer technology.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in equity research or market intelligence.
• Experience in consulting or analytical roles.
• Experience designing primary research frameworks and questionnaires.
• Strong analytical skills with Financial Services domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead CCR projects for Financial Services channel checks.
• Develop structured questionnaires and expert sourcebase guidance.
• Guide analysts and ensure high-quality research outputs.
• Expand CCR coverage across banking, insurance and fintech.
