Withum is seeking a Financial Services Audit Supervisor to join our firm with offices in East Brunswick, Whippany, Red Bank, Orlando, Boca Raton and New York City. You will lead audit engagements from planning to completion, overseeing staff and maintaining client relationships with the engagement partner.

The role requires a CPA, a bachelor's in accounting, and 3+ years in public accounting with experience leading engagements. Travel to client sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license.
• At least 3 years of public accounting experience, with leadership of multiple engagements.
• Experience with audits of funds (private equity, venture capital, hedge funds).
• Strong GAAP knowledge and auditing skills.
• Excellent client service and communication abilities.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead the engagement team in planning and executing audit, review or compilation engagements.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting and conclusion.
• Supervise staff and maintain client relationships with the engagement partner.
• Collaborate on client issue resolution and provide guidance on regulatory and accounting issues.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently to meet deadlines.
• Create and track engagement budgets and discuss performance with team members.
• Contribute as an instructor or discussion leader in professional development programs.

Withum's Auditing and Attest Engagement services are the cornerstone of our firm. Withum's audit and advisory team possess the expertise necessary to give stakeholders confidence in financial information. This team provides audit services, Review and compilation services and other agreed upon audit procedures to a variety of client sizes and industries.

This Financial Services Audit Supervisor role will be based out of ourEast Brunswick, NJ, Whippany, NJ, Red Bank, NJ, Orlando, FL, Boca Raton, FL or New York City office.You'll work alongside an integrated team of seasoned, well-known CPAs and industry leaders. In this position, you will take a lead role on all aspects of audit engagements, from planning to completion, to include supervision/mentoring of staff and building/maintaining relationships with clients.

How You'll Spend Your Time:

• Leading the engagement team staff on the planning and execution of an audit, review or compilation engagement to effectively and efficiently provide world-class client service to clients
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the audit engagement from staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting and the conclusion
• Providing supervision and support to the engagement staff, seniors and supervisors and promote open communication to the engagement partner
• Collaborating with engagement team seniors or supervisors and partners on client issue resolution and make recommendations for any legal, regulatory and accounting issues that arise during an audit engagement
• Managing multipleengagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines
• Creating and tracking engagement budgets to review for inefficiencies that may arise during the audit \Conduct constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and providing counsel accordingly
• Serving in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license
• At least3years of public accounting experience, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
• Experience with audits of funds such as private equity, venture capital, hedge and fund of funds
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to client's management
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, strong attention to detail, and proven innovativeproblem-solvingskills
• Ability to travel as needed based on client assignments

The compensation for this position ranges by location. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual's skills, experience and qualifications. New York City ranges are from - $90,000 - $165,000 annually

East Brunswick ranges are from - $85,000 - $175,000 annually

Orlando ranges are from - $85,000 - $130,000 annually

Red Bank rages are from - $85,000 - $140,000 annually

Whippany ranges are from - $100,000 - $135,000 annually

Boca Raton ranges are from- $85,000 - $130,000 annually
