Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Financial Services Officer to join a Credit Union client in San Diego. The role focuses on delivering deposits, loans, wealth management and insurance solutions to consumer and business members, with outside sales and business development.

You will build relationships, conduct financial assessments, process loan applications, open accounts, and provide notary services, while complying with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years of banking lending experience.
• Proficiency in Symitar and Microsoft Office.
• NMLS certification.
• Ability to pass background and credit checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outside sales and business development with small business prospects.
• Participate in community events to grow the credit union's presence.
• Serve as the primary contact for members seeking deposits, loans, wealth management, and insurance solutions.
• Perform financial assessments and loan interviews; recommend suitable products.
• Process loan applications in line with policy and required documentation.
• Open new accounts and memberships per policy and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide notary services as needed.
• Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Branch Manager.
• Ensure compliance with laws and security/regulatory guidelines.
