Financial Services Administration Supervisor Responsibilities
- Builds rapport with lenders and Penske to establish a base of referrals and customer network
- Maintains an impeccable reputation with lenders
- Produces & submits accurate paperwork for title work and secures funding from finance sources in a timely manner
- Provides customers with explanations of aftermarket products and extended warranties
- Provides customers with complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies
- Develops and monitors guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Processes finance and lease deals accurately, fairly, and in accordance with local, state, and federal statutes and company policies when needed
- Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner
- Understands and complies with all federal, state, and local regulations that affect used-vehicle and finance departments
- Checks all paperwork for required documents, correct title, lien information, taxes, and consumer information before forwarding to accounting
- Maintains an adequate and current supply of contracts and paperwork needed for funded deals
- Works closely with Financial Services Administration Manager to establish department goals and ensure they are achieved
- Ensures work areas and customer waiting areas are kept clean
- Follows attendance, punctuality, and timekeeping standards
- Follows the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct
- Understands and follows all work rules and directions from Supervisors
- Upholds non-disclosure and confidentiality policies
- Maintains a professional appearance for self and subordinates
- Attends pertinent training and company meetings as required
- Additionally this role will be measured on: daily throughput, compliance reporting, training booklets updated, and process development guidelines updated in a timely manner
- Supports subprime partner (R&K Financial)
- Daily requests, status updates, buybacks, and communication between Penske and R&K
- Maintains Salesforce compliance with daily reporting and inputting applications (Canada)
- Assists finance team to ensure all required tasks are completed
- Trains new associates and ensures training/process guidelines are up to date
- Assists with escalations and process development
- Addresses all credit disputes

Requirements/ Skills/ Abilities
- Ability to understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the new- and used-vehicle and finance departments
- Ability to facilitate and/or conduct technical training to other employees
- Computer proficiency
- Exceptional communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to process data and organize it for management analysis
- Numerical literacy and basic math skills including rate, ratio, percent calculations
- Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given parameters
- Ability to interact well with others and be a positive influence on morale
