Job summary

Goldenwest Credit Union in Roy, Utah seeks a friendly Financial Service Representative to assist members with currency transactions, open new accounts and service loans. You will build lasting relationships and promote credit union products.

The role is full-time at 40 hours weekly, with a base pay of $15 per hour plus bonus and incentives, commensurate with experience. Prior retail or consumer lending experience is preferred; High School Diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Experience in retail or consumer lending preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate long-term, trusting relationships with members.
• Complete teller transactions and Open new accounts.
• Process consumer loan applications.
• Assist members by phone while business is being developed.
• Match credit union products to members' financial needs.
• Provide consistent member follow-up.

What You Can Expect

Our Financial Service Representatives eagerly assist members and prospective members with currency transactions, opening new accounts, and consumer loan needs.

Location, Schedule Availability & Salary Range

• 5627 S 2050 W, Roy, UT, 84067
• Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 6:15 PM, rotating Saturdays 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• $15.00 per hour, based on experience and performance + Bonus + Incentive

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Cultivate and effectively manage long-term, trusting relationships.
• Complete teller transactions.
• Open new accounts.
• Process consumer loan applications.
• Assist members by phone while business is being developed.
• Pair corresponding credit union products and services with members’ financial needs.
• Provide consistent member follow-up.
• Comply with all regulations as required by law.
• Actively participate in continuing education related to credit union career development.

Experience, Education & Certification

• High School Diploma
• Prior retail or consumer lending experience is preferred.
