Job summary

South Carolina Federal Credit Union is seeking a Financial Sales Representative to join our Columbia Financial Center in Columbia, SC. You will provide exceptional customer service and offer financial products and services that meet members' needs.

A typical day includes collaborating with teammates, greeting members in person or by phone, answering questions about auto loans, asking about goals, recommending solutions, following up on new accounts, and supporting promotions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a sales position.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members during the morning huddle and discuss sales goals for the day.
• Greet and develop rapport with members who enter the financial center or call on the telephone.
• Answer a member's question about the auto loan application process.
• Ask a member open-ended questions about their financial goals and recommend products and services based on their needs.
• Follow up with a member who recently opened an account.
• Chat briefly with your manager to discuss wins, challenges and progress on sales goals.
• Call members to share a new promotion for which they may qualify.

To land this role, you need to have a high school diploma (or equivalent), at least one year of experience working specifically in a sales position selling products and/or services with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, and a positive attitude.
