Financial Sales Manager (Branch Manager)-Business Development

Overview

As a Financial Sales Manager, your primary focus will be on outbound calling activities to generate new business opportunities. You may partner with a business or commercial banker to provide expertise around business deposits and related services. You will manage sales efforts and associates in a boutique branch, overseeing office operations with support from an operations specialist.

Responsibilities
  • Lead outbound sales and business development efforts to meet individual and team sales goals.
  • Develop Centers of Influence (COIs) and leverage business relationships. Engage with customers, prospects, and referral sources through proactive outreach.
  • Represent the bank in the community to generate business and identify CRA opportunities.
  • Manage team performance and personnel functions, executing plans to deliver results that create value for customers and meet financial expectations.
  • Support associate development through coaching and mentoring.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, procedures, and risk management standards related to credit, operations, reputation, and legal aspects.
  • Foster collaborative partnerships to deliver value, initiate conversations to uncover sales or referral opportunities.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience in sales, customer service, lending, or financial services, including supervisory experience.

Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Additional Requirements

Completion of federal registration and annual renewal as mandated by the SAFE Act.

  • Understanding of retail banking products and services.
  • Ability to network and build centers of influence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
