As a Financial Sales Manager at First Citizens Bank, you will manage sales efforts and associates in a branch location and oversee branch operations, with support from an operations specialist. This role involves outbound calling to generate new business opportunities, proactive customer outreach, and leveraging your expertise in consumer and small business financial needs. You will establish banking relationships, extend credit, and identify referrals for specialty partners.

This position may be filled as a Financial Sales Manager I or II based on the skills and experience of the candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Sales: Achieve individual and team financial, production, and relationship goals. Engage with customers, prospects, and referral sources through proactive outreach. Represent the bank in the community to generate business and identify CRA opportunities.
  • Team Management: Manage performance and personnel functions, ensure operational soundness, and deliver results. Provide coaching and leverage bank partners and managers for support.
  • Service Standards: Foster partnerships that deliver value. Initiate conversations to uncover sales or referral opportunities.
  • Operations and Administration: Comply with regulations, policies, and procedures to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory, and legal aspects.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, lending, or financial services sales including supervisory experience, OR a High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of relevant experience.

License or Certification: Must possess a valid driver's license. The role requires frequent driving; a bank car is not provided. Complete bank-sponsored licensing and federal registration as per the SAFE Act within specified timelines.

Skills include providing financial guidance, financial literacy, analysis, retail banking products, business development, networking, and applying structured sales processes.
