Empower Retirement offers a Summer 2027 Financial Sales Intern program in Hartford, CT. This 10-week, full-time internship provides hands-on projects, mentorship, and exposure to senior leadership in a fast-paced financial services environment.

As an intern, you’ll develop sales acumen, create prospect lists in Salesforce, analyze data to improve pipelines, and explore AI tools to streamline processes; you’ll gain cross-functional exposure and professional development.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college or university (Bachelor's or Master's program).
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Available for a full 10-week program (June 2 – August 6, 2027).
• Must reside near Hartford, CT; in-person internship.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support Core Sales and Support with real-time initiatives and projects.
• Create prospecting lists and advisor additions in Salesforce for ISDs.
• Analyze sales data to improve pipelines and processes.
• Identify process improvements using data and AI tools.
• Gain insight into consultative sales and Empower's 401(k) products.
