Job summary

Empower is seeking a Summer 2027 Financial Sales Intern in Hartford, CT, for a 10-week, on-site program. You’ll join the Core Sales team, gain hands-on project experience, and learn from senior leaders in a fast-paced financial services environment.

You will develop business acumen, build prospect lists in Salesforce, analyze sales data, and explore AI-enabled processes while preparing for potential full-time opportunities post-graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university (Bachelor’s or Master’s program).
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Available for full 10-week program (June 2 - August 6, 2027).
• Must reside near Hartford, CT (in-person internship).
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without CPT/OPT sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support Core Sales and Support with real-time projects and initiatives.
• Create prospecting lists and advisor additions in Salesforce for ISDs.
• Analyze sales data to improve pipelines and streamline processes.
• Identify process improvements using data and AI tools.
• Gain insight into consultative sales and Empower’s 401(k) products.
