Buckingham Search is seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting for a leading global manufacturing company in Oak Brook, IL. This role leads financial reporting activities and partners with senior leadership, with exposure to SEC filings and pension statement audits.

The successful candidate will oversee reporting, drive technical accounting clarity, and manage a small offshore COE while coordinating with external auditors on annual cycles.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive financial reporting or accounting experience.
• Active CPA required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Public company and SEC reporting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and filing of 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings.
• Oversee the preparation and audit of 11-K and U.S. Pension Plan statements.
• Monitor SEC reporting and disclosure requirements; perform benchmarking.
• Partner with Investor Relations on earnings materials and presentations.
• Mentor and develop two direct reports and manage performance.
