Job summary

Walker Elliott, a growing private oil & gas company, is looking to add a key member to its accounting team. This role goes beyond traditional financial reporting and entails cross‑fund work and exposure to ASC 946 investment company accounting and cost basis accounting.

You will own quarterly and annual financial statements, manage multi‑entity accounting and consolidations, support GAAP close and internal controls, assist with audits and tax advisors, and participate in acquisition accounting,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in public accounting, E&P, or PE-backed environments.
• CPA preferred or actively pursuing.
