Hillwood Energy in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close across domestic and international energy investments, ensuring accurate GAAP and IFRS reporting and strong internal controls. The role partners with Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, Tax, and operations; manages a small accounting team and coordinates with auditors and lenders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required.
• CPA license required.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with oil and gas accounting preferred.
• Experience with partnerships/JV accounting and lender reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close for domestic and international investments.
• Coordinate consolidation under U.S. GAAP and IFRS and prepare statements.
• Oversee audit coordination and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Collaborate with accounting, treasury, FP&A, tax, and operations.
• Develop scalable accounting processes and leverage AI tools to improve reporting.
• Mentor and develop the accounting staff.
