Job summary

Delaware North in Buffalo, NY, is hiring a Manager of Financial Reporting, Global Business Services to lead the financial reporting and consolidation processes and oversee a team of accountants.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to streamline operations, drive process improvements, and ensure timely, accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, with opportunities for growth and development within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Professional certification such as CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience with some supervisory responsibility.
• Financial statement preparation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the financial reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of monthly financial reporting and consolidation.
• Coordinating and supporting the year-end financial external audits and the preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Preparation of quarterly and annual debt compliance reporting packages and communication of results with senior leaders.
• Develop team members by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
