Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead external financial reporting and technical accounting within a public-company environment. You will prepare materials for SEC filings, earnings communications, and related disclosures, collaborating with finance, legal, management, and external auditors.

Remote role, US-based candidates only. Requires CPA, a Bachelor's in accounting, and at least five years in public company audit or financial reporting, with strong US GAAP/SEC knowledge;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• Active CPA license is required.
• Minimum of five years in public company audit, financial reporting, or technical accounting.
• Public accounting experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Familiarity with Workiva preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and sound business judgment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial reporting packages.
• Assist in drafting quarterly and annual footnotes and MD&A.
• Create and maintain workpapers for SEC filings.
• Support Investor Relations with quarterly earnings releases.
• Coordinate comments from legal, finance, management, and external auditors during SEC cycles.
• Assist with U.S. GAAP/SEC disclosures and XBRL tagging as needed.
• Conduct technical accounting research on significant transactions and new standards.

For our client, we are seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will own key aspects of external financial reporting and technical accounting support within a public-company environment. You will prepare materials that support SEC filings, earnings communications, and related disclosure processes while partnering closely with finance, legal, management, and external auditors. The position also requires thoughtful application of U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance to transactions, disclosures, and evolving accounting standards.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial reporting packages
• Assist in drafting quarterly and annual footnote disclosures and MD&A
• Create and maintain workpapers for SEC filings containing financial information
• Support Investor Relations in developing the quarterly earnings release
• Coordinate comments from legal, finance, management, and external auditors during SEC filing cycles
• Assist with maintaining and updating XBRL tagging for relevant filings
• Conduct technical accounting research related to significant transactions and new accounting standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field required
