Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Manager of Accounting to oversee core accounting operations across international entities with a strong focus on statutory reporting, close governance and technical accounting judgment. You will lead a team of accountants, partnering with Finance leadership to deliver accurate reporting and actionable financial insights.

The role is remote for US-based candidates, requires 8+ years in accounting (CPA preferred), and offers a compensation range of $133,000–$225,000

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including in publicly traded companies.
• 3 years of direct people management experience.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Operational and technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of the annual statutory reporting process across international entities.
• Lead and develop a team of accountants with coaching and customer service focus.
• Review month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close deliverables for key balance sheet areas.
• Deliver monthly management reporting and analytics for Finance leadership.
• Conclude on complex transactions under local GAAP and collaborate on US GAAP treatment.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners for financial guidance.
• Drive close optimization and governance through process evaluation and automation.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager of Accounting to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will oversee core accounting operations across international entities, with a strong emphasis on statutory reporting, close governance, and technical accounting judgment. You will lead a team of accountants, partnering closely with Finance leadership and business stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting, strengthen controls, and improve process efficiency. The position also plays a key role in resolving complex accounting matters and supporting management with actionable financial insights.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $133,000 – $225,000 annually
