S+H Search seeks an experienced Finance Manager for a privately held energy company in Fort Worth, Texas. The role focuses on delivering financial insight, improving forecasting and reporting, and guiding strategic decisions across the business.

Based in Fort Worth with 100% in-office work, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and modeling; develop dashboards and executive presentations; and collaborate across accounting, operations, and leadership to translate activities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience.
• Oil & gas upstream experience strongly preferred.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial technologies.
• Experience with AI/automation for analytics is valued.

A privately held energy company is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its growing finance organization in Fort Worth, Texas.

This position will work closely with senior leadership and operating teams to provide financial insight, improve forecasting and reporting, and support strategic decision-making across the business.

What You'll Do

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling
• Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and key drivers
• Develop and deliver management reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level financial presentations
• Partner with accounting, operations, and leadership to translate operational activity into actionable financial insights
• Build and enhance FP&A processes, models, reporting tools, and best practices

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience
• Required: Oil & gas experience, with upstream E&P experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of upstream oil & gas financial and operational drivers
• Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Strong experience working with ERP systems and financial/analytical technologies
• Experience using AI tools and/or automation to improve financial analysis and reporting is highly valued
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• MBA, CFA, or similar advanced credentials are a plus
