Job summary

CFS in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Financial Reporting Manager to lead monthly consolidations, SEC filings, and external audits in a fast-paced, publicly traded environment.

You will partner with senior finance leaders, oversee SOX controls, and drive reporting accuracy while guiding a growing accounting team. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• Active CPA designation is required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting and corporate accounting experience.
• Public accounting background is preferred, at Manager/Senior Manager level for publicly traded clients.
• Strong knowledge of SEC reporting, US GAAP, SOX compliance, and consolidations.

Responsibilities

• Direct the monthly consolidation process and oversee internal and external financial reporting deliverables.
• Manage all SEC reporting activities, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and other regulatory filings.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Oversee financial reporting controls, SOX compliance, and governance processes.
• Support executive leadership with financial insights, reporting analytics, and strategic finance initiatives.
• Provide leadership and development for accounting team members, including consolidation function.

• 10+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, and corporate accounting experience.
• Public accounting background strongly preferred, ideally at the Manager or Senior Manager level supporting publicly traded clients.
• Deep knowledge of SEC reporting requirements, U.S. GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial consolidations.
• Experience working within a large public-company reporting environment preferred.
