Job summary

South Carolina Treasurer's Office seeks a Financial Reporting Lead to coordinate accounting functions and manage Treasury Management Division projects. You will support daily deposits, ACH/check activities, and reconciliation processes while preparing complex internal and external financial reports.

The role requires three years of fiscal accounting experience, knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to supervise and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
• At least three years of full-time fiscal experience in accounting, finance, or auditing.
• Experience reconciling bank accounts daily.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage accounting functions and/or special projects for the Treasury Management Division.
• Cross train and back-up Accountant/Fiscal Analyst roles for daily deposits, ACH/check activities.
• Prepare complex financial reports for internal and external use.
• Manage STO security and arising issues related to the role.
• Develop and maintain desk procedures and user guides to promote quality outputs.
