Job summary

Munich Re Specialty North America in Princeton, NJ, is seeking a Financial Reporting Technical Analyst to support data analytics and reporting systems, automating recurring reports, and maintaining platforms such as GPS/SBA, FS-RI, EDWH, TM1, and Power BI.

You will collaborate with IT, Finance, and Actuarial teams, develop automated reporting solutions, and contribute to planning, forecasting, and reporting processes under senior guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in data analytics, financial analysis, or reporting.
• Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, or data profiling tools.
• SQL, Python, R, or Java experience preferred.
• Familiarity with TM1, EDWH, IRDW, FS-RI, SAP-BO, or similar systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Collaborates across IT, Finance, Data, Accounting, and Actuarial.

Responsibilities

• Support the flow of MRS NA financial data from policy systems to the general ledger and reporting warehouses.
• Assist with maintaining and updating financial master data used for reporting processes and applications.
• Prepare financial data queries and ad hoc reporting outputs to support corporate reporting requirements.
• Participate as a Finance representative in cross-functional projects for new reporting requirements or system implementations.
• Work with SAC planning/forecasting and automate interfaces of key data for consolidated reporting.
