Job summary

NewLane Finance, a nationwide commercial equipment finance company, is seeking a Financial Analyst to organize financial performance analysis, budgeting, and management reporting for senior leadership. You will prepare materials for board meetings and profitability reviews, and support planning with business units.

The role emphasizes BI-driven insights using Tableau and strong Excel/PowerPoint capabilities to communicate financial results and projections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years’ experience with financial modeling and 1–2 years’ experience in financial reporting/analysis.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Training/certification/experience with Tableau or business intelligence reporting tools.
• Ability to problem solve, teamwork skills, and positive contribution to overall success of the team.

Responsibilities

• Organize the preparation and analysis of financial performance, management reporting, and budget processes.
• Coordinate key management review meetings, including internal management review, parent business profitability sessions, and board meeting materials.
• Assist business users in the budget and financial planning cycle and assemble financial and business presentations for senior management and parent leadership.
• Support senior management around performance results, financial projections, and profitability decisioning.
• Develop ad‑hoc financial analysis to assist department managers in making decisions and apply business intelligence tools, including Tableau, to deliver meaningful insights into business performance.
• Organize business plans with business unit administration/line managers and manage special projects as needed.
