Financial Reporting Analyst

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 / year
Description
The Financial Reporting Analyst will perform a broad range of accounting and financial analyst responsibilities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Write and run SQL, JET and Power BI reports related to financial transactions
- Create monthly and quarterly reports for both internal and external users
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Create and post general ledger entries
- Pull data from outside platforms for reporting
- Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Create ad hoc reports
- Assist in month end closing process
Secondary Functions:
- Banking duties
- Pulling data for audit requests
- Other duties as assigned
Expected hours of work:
- M-F 8a-5p (Hybrid - In office Monday, Wednesday & Thursday)

Job Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Experience with reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, JET Reporting as well as experience with ERP Software
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to find and solve complex data problems
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to draw meaningful conclusions from data
- Proven ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and concise manner
- Skilled in communicating findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- High level of mindfulness and accuracy in all aspects of work
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams
