A leading firm is seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist to strengthen their Financial Reporting team. This role involves preparing financial statements, collaborating with diverse teams, and utilizing tools like Confluence and Microsoft Excel. The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members for our Financial Reporting team. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional administrative services to our clients while interacting with Fund Accounting teams, auditors, printers, and other SEI personnel. As a financial reporting specialist, you will participate in the preparation of financial statements for various clients in accordance with regulatory and/or client deliverables calendar. This position reports to the Confluence Team Lead/Manager.
What you will do:
Develop a working knowledge of the Confluence platform and knowledge of Financial Reporting statement creation and timing. Build a strong background in MS Word and Excel.
Assist in maintaining and fixing current issues with statement/holdings maps and snippets for the entire universe of funds on the platform. Build new statements/holdings maps/snippets as assigned by the Team Manager. Assist in building new publications from scratch leveraging all system capabilities properly.
Develop a working knowledge of the entire Platform and Infrastructure and assist in resolving issues when they arise.
Scrub data correctly and support the Financial Reporting team with all data needs. Work with accounting to implement new data initiatives as needed.
Participate in projects and initiatives as assigned by the Team Lead. Attend various Confluence meetings and events as determined by the Team Manager and Financial Reporting Director overseeing Confluence.
Attend professional development sessions to acquire tools for process improvement across the division and organization. Partner with a diverse team to grow your career.
What we need from you:
BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in mutual fund or alternative investment funds industry.
1+ years working with Confluence Unity Platform preferred.
Experience with financial statement preparation preferred.
Strong accounting and financial reporting skills are preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple client deliverables without sacrificing quality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for client and internal contact.
Strong customer service skills for daily communication with internal and external clients.

Compensation:
The base salary ranges from $67,000 to $72,000 per year.
