Accountant - Financial Reporting ($110,000 - $125,000) - Hybrid in Dallas, TX

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accountant - Financial Reporting - for our client in the oil and gas industry located in Dallas, TX. This role involves preparing accurate financial statements, performing month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in public accounting, completing financial reporting. Oil and gas experience is required for the role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and validate financial statements
• Oversee month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations for accruals, derivatives, and other ledger activities.
• Compile financial reporting packages for various internal and external stakeholders under tight deadlines.
• Consolidate quarterly and annual financial statements for affiliates.
• Assist with compliance reporting, including quarterly bank covenant submissions and external audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 3+ years of experience in a relevant role
• Experience in public accounting is required
• Oil and gas experience is required for the position
