• Recommend repossession or charge-off of collateral when earlier efforts fail.
• Maintain accurate files and reports on collections activity.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports as directed.
• Inform management of trends in loan underwriting affecting delinquencies and charge-offs.
• Provide excellent member service while collecting due amounts.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Financial Recovery Representative to support the Financial Recovery Department by assisting in the collection of past due accounts and processing paperwork associated with bankruptcies and repossessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact members with delinquent accounts by phone and mail and take appropriate action to bring accounts current.
• Make recommendations to repossess or charge off account collateral when other arrangements to bring the loan current are unsuccessful.
• Maintain accurate files and reports on all collections activity.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collection activity as directed.
• Inform management of trends in loan underwriting contributing to delinquent/charged-off loans.
• Provide excellent member service.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• One year to three years of similar or related experience.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Saturday Hours 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM (On rotation)
• Full Time Employees have a 40-hour work week within the hours listed above.
