Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a financial services organization, is seeking a skilled Account Recovery Specialist. This role is responsible for managing delinquent consumer accounts, securing payment commitments, and guiding customers through resolution options. The position focuses on accounts that are 45+ days past due and requires direct communication regarding potential next steps if payment is not received.

Job Duties

• Initiate outbound calls to customers with delinquent accounts
• Review account status and determine appropriate resolution strategies
• Secure payment commitments and establish structured repayment plans
• Clearly explain account status and potential actions due to non-payment
• Record all customer interactions and commitments within internal systems
• Monitor payment arrangements and follow up on missed commitments
• Adhere to established regulatory and compliance standards
• Escalate accounts based on delinquency thresholds and policy guidelines

Skills & Experience

Required

• Minimum 1 year of consumer collections experience (credit card, personal loans, student loans, utilities, cable, or similar)
• Experience handling accounts 45+ days delinquent
• Proven ability to negotiate payment solutions
• Experience working within a CRM or account management platform
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background in auto finance or secured loan collections
• Experience communicating potential repossession or service interruption
• Familiarity with collections compliance standards and regulatory guidelines
• Experience in high-volume outbound call environments
