Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic requirement: degree in accounting or related field with 24 semester hours in accounting (including up to 6 in business law).
• Combination of education and experience: at least 4 years in accounting with 24 hours in accounting/auditing or equivalent credentials (CPA or CIA) or degree with substantial accounting coursework and comprovated professional work.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, considers, and resolves a variety of financial-related issues, questions, and problems related to the agency financial management program.
• Provides advice to program managers, analyzes accounting data and reports, and performs financial analysis, forecasting, and monitoring of progress.
• Coordinates data collection for periodic reporting requirements; develops procedural manuals and directives; provides training on audit and remediation processes.
