Title: FP&A Manager
Location: Remote - United States
Salary range: $150,000 - $160,000 Base Salary + 15% Bonus
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Strategy
- Oversee the creation, enhancement, and management of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial strategies, ensuring they align with company goals.
- Prepare and update weekly and monthly cash flow projections to maintain liquidity and support organizational objectives.
- Track financial performance against set benchmarks, proactively spotting risks and opportunities for enhancement.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Create and present comprehensive monthly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for leadership and stakeholders.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to assist with strategic initiatives, new product launches, and market expansion opportunities.
M&A Support
- Perform target company evaluations, encompassing financial modelling, valuation analysis, and market trend assessments to uncover strategic acquisition opportunities.
- Develop "sprint" or "pass" analyses to filter and prioritize the most promising M&A prospects for progression to the Indication of Interest (IOI) stage.
- Craft compelling investment theses that thoroughly assess risks and opportunities, providing weighted guidance for decision-making.
- Oversee and coordinate due diligence efforts across all functional areas to ensure timely, accurate, and actionable results.
- Track post-acquisition performance, monitor synergy realization, and deliver actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and maximize value creation.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, operations, and supply chain teams to identify and analyze the key factors influencing financial performance.
- Assist in developing pricing strategies and promotional decisions through comprehensive financial modelling and analysis.
Process Optimization
- Identify and implement enhancements to financial reporting, processes, and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Promote the use of technology and analytics tools for enhanced financial insights and reporting.
Qualifications
- 5+ Years of experience in FP&A in the CPG/FMCG industry
- Financial modelling and forecasting skills.
- Skilled in using financial software and tools, including Excel, ERP systems, and BI tools such as Tableau.
- Strong understanding of the consumer products market.
