Job summary

Powerus is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to own financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting, working directly with the Chief of Finance and operational leaders.

You will lead the consolidated operating model, run monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles, and build variance analyses for leadership and the board. This role partners with manufacturing, supply chain, and sales on budgets and unit economics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or similar.
• Strong modeling skills and ability to work with operational leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the consolidated operating model, including revenue, cost, headcount, and cash forecasting.
• Run monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles and the annual budget process.
• Build management reporting packages and variance analysis for leadership and the board.
• Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and sales on departmental budgets and unit economics.
• Develop and track KPIs across production, gross margin, and operating expense.
• Support scenario planning for capacity, acquisitions, and capital allocation.
• Improve planning processes and systems as reporting requirements increase.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the consolidated operating model, including revenue, cost, headcount, and cash forecasting
• Run monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles and the annual budget process
• Build management reporting packages and variance analysis for leadership and the board
• Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and sales leaders on departmental budgets and unit economics
• Develop and track KPIs across production, gross margin, and operating expense
• Support scenario planning for capacity, acquisitions, and capital allocation
• Improve planning processes and systems as reporting requirements increase

Qualifications

• Must be located in the United States, within commuting distance of Rock Hill, SC
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a comparable analytical finance role
• Strong financial modeling skills, including three-statement modeling
• Experience partnering with operational leaders outside finance
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with an ERP or planning system
• U.S. Person status required (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)); this role involves access to ITAR- and EAR-controlled technical data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, hardware, aerospace, or defense
• Experience with public-company planning and reporting
• Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP
• Background in inventory, cost accounting, or supply chain finance
• Active or prior U.S. security clearance
