Talisman is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to lead financial planning and reporting for its growing renewable energy platform. You’ll translate project economics into decision-ready insights for senior leadership and the Board, and build processes to keep a fast-moving business financially disciplined.

Based in Durham, NC, this hybrid role requires collaboration across FP&A, Accounting, Operations, and Project Finance, with 4 days in-office and relocation support for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years FP&A experience; renewable energy or infrastructure exposure a strong plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; Master's preferred.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling; strong across the MS Office suite.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and familiarity with energy financing structures (tax equity, project debt, etc.).
• CPA or FMVA designation a plus, but not required.
• A self-starter who thrives in lean, entrepreneurial environments and takes genuine ownership.
• Strong communicator - able to distil complex financial analysis into clear narratives for non-finance stakeholders.

Our client, a growing independent power producer (IPP) active in utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage is looking to add a Senior FP&A Analyst to their expanding finance team. The company operates across the full project lifecycle - greenfield development, co-development, and acquisition of later-stage assets- and has an established, growing portfolio of completed renewable energy projects.

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-capitalized platform at an exciting inflection point - backed by a leading global energy infrastructure investor - as it scales its portfolio of solar, wind, and battery storage assets across the United States.

The Role

Sitting at the intersection of project finance, asset management, development, construction, and accounting, the Senior FP&A Analyst will own the company's financial planning and reporting function. You'll translate complex project and corporate economics into clear, decision-ready analysis for senior leadership and the Board - and build the processes that keep a fast-moving platform running with financial discipline.
