Job summary

Adecco is seeking a FP&A professional for Gross Margin Planning in a hybrid NYC setting. You will build and manage financial models to forecast Gross Margin across domestic and international channels, coordinating with Supply Chain, Inventory, and Finance leaders to explain variances and drive margin improvement.

The role requires advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, familiarity with MicroStrategy and SAP, and a strong analytical mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Working knowledge of MicroStrategy and SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare rolling 12-month Gross Margin forecasts by channel and analyze variances.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Inventory teams to forecast Gross Margin COGS variances.
  • Own Gross Margin consolidation process for month-end close and report to senior management.
  • Run weekly margin analyses and highlight risks and opportunities to improve margins.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting to support inventory and BU finance teams.
  • Analyze product plans to assess impact on financial margin across Coach channels.
  • Contribute to annual and long-range plans for Gross Margin.

Job description

Title: FP&A Gross Margin Planning

Pay: $50-$55/hr

Location: Hybrid NYC

Primary Purpose: This position is responsible for developing and managing financial models and tools to forecast, analyze and report Gross Margin results across domestic and international businesses in direct and indirect channels. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, FP&A.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in FP&A to
  • Prepare rolling 12-month Gross Margin forecasts on a channel level for each Business Unit and analyze actuals versus forecast and prior year. Explain key variances, business trends and performance drivers. Own communication to TPR.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Global Inventory teams to forecast all monthly Gross Margin COGS variances (both receipt and consumption based) and explain these variances vs prior plan and prior years.
  • Own the Global Coach Brand Gross Margin consolidation process for month-end close and communicate results to Tapestry Senior Management. Bridge and explain variances vs. plan and prior years. Communicate with business partners globally within Finance, Inventory, Merchandise Planning and Supply Chain to understand key assumptions affecting current margin forecast.
  • Run and distribute weekly margin analysis reports highlighting business results, as well as any risks and opportunities to ensure Brand is achieving margin/ profitability/ turn goals. Partner with Business Units to develop strategic solutions in situations where we are trending below plan and identify opportunities to drive improvements in plan.
  • Adhoc reporting to support inventory management and BU finance teams.
  • Analyze product plans to understand future category assortment and product strategies of all Coach Channels and assess the impact these will have on financial margin.
  • Drive strategic planning process through development and analysis of annual operating plans and long-range plans for Gross Margin each year.

An outstanding professional will have...
