Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Dover Precision Components (DPC)is hiring a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager . We offer competitive pay and benefits and the ability to be a key accounting and finance leader within the Dover Precision Components’ finance organization, part of $8 billion stable and growing Dover Corporation. We offer a hybrid-remote schedule with 3 days a week onsite and 2 days remote if you’d like.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Prepare monthly consolidation of entities (currently 16) in OneStream, Dover’s Consolidation and Reporting System.
  • Compile information and provide analytics to fulfill various Dover reporting requirements on a global scale. Prepare monthly and annual forecast for the operating company based upon inputs from the reporting locations.
  • Maintain control documentation for DPC entity level procedures. Aid with annual control review conducted by Corporate. Lead improvement initiatives related to monitoring process improvements. Identify risk areas requiring improved controls.
  • Coordinate financial review and analysis templates, lead management review meetings and drive improved information from Business Units.
  • Monthly and ad hoc coordination of various Dover schedules. Consolidate with appropriate personnel to deliver per requirements.
  • High levels of interaction with various functions including Sales, Finance, Human Resources, IT and Manufacturing to provide DPC level information.
  • Build customer relationships with key management personnel including General Managers, Functional leaders and Plant operations management.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the Controllers, Assistant Controllers and Finance Managers worldwide.
  • Schedule and work with Finance Managers to prepare for monthly financial meetings. Gross margin reviews and working capital improvement updates. Schedule and prepare materials for periodic department meetings with Functional Leaders. Organize quarterly global finance and accounting updates.
  • Lead the annual operating plan development including project timeline, determination of assumptions and all supporting analysis to prepare financial statements and Dover analytics.
  • Prepare allocated and regional profit and loss statements for the Operating Company.
  • Organize goal deployment metrics Companywide to align with the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan targets.
  • Work with Dover Operating Company peers to align work and share best practices.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with master’s degree in accountancy or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Financial Analyst experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced financial analytical capabilities and understanding of accounting concepts.
  • Organizational and process improvement mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to create ideas and develop solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interface with business partners.
  • Ability to travel overnight 15 to 20%, both domestically and internationally.
